When Ashgrove Marketing came to us with the new brief for The Claremont Hotel I was excited as it’s was something that I have always wanted to photograph.
Documenting the process is an important element of my style of photography. Your client enjoys seeing what you do, it adds value to your brand but most importantly it puts a face and a story behind what your company does and shows who you are.
A chef is a mixture of artistry and craft.

There was no time for staging or styling and I enjoyed working with that type of pressure of having to get ‘the shot’!
Shooting inside the kitchen with everyone working at full speed was quite something, seeing the chefs cook in a professional kitchen is an endlessly fascinating and an eye-opening experience. I LOVED IT!
Chef Richard was incredible! I could have watched him work all day and never tire of his craftsmanship, his talent and passion is insanely admirable!

The brief for this job was to create images for Mannivest to use to promote their private serviced offices and hot desks service available at their Douglas office situated on the First Floor at Skanco Court.
Mannivest is a modern, purpose-built building, fully furnished with access to boardroom and meeting rooms.
Free parking!
Free tea and coffee, Yes, you read that right, free tea and coffee!
I spend a lot of time working in Douglas and equally spend a lot of time finding and stressing over parking which is always a headache, having somewhere you can just pull up outside and meet clients without the added stress and worry of being late.
It’s great to have a go-to place for that important meeting. Go check out their site.

My Birthday Road Trip
It feels like my feet haven’t touched the ground this year and I have been useless at updating our blog.
In February I turned 30! SHOCKED?… I know right, I don’t look a day over 21!
We love our road trips and random adventures, so to celebrate my birthday we did just that.
I struggle to sit still and get bored easily, but when in the car for hours, I feel so inspired and love watching the world go by!
Here’s just a small selection of images I shot, we drove over 4000 miles so there are lots, most of these were taken whilst hanging out the car the car window.

St Ninian’s Church Wedding | Isle of Man | Siobhan & Lee
Siobhan and Lee were married on September 22nd at St Ninian’s Church, and held their reception at The Villa Marina.
On the day of the wedding I met with Lee and his Groomsmen at his parents home in Ballaugh.

Lee’s Dad owns a fabulous classic American hot rod and this was the wedding car that Lee & his Dad travelled to the church in.
We got some amazing shots of the guys up on the Mountain, on our way to the ceremony.

Siobhan’s bridal party all met at the Empress Hotel in the morning before cruising in style up to the church with Platinum Cars.

Lee works for the Manx Railway, and what better idea for their private photos than to be out by Port Soderick just as the steam train came past.
The night ended in the Villa Marina with live music, laughter and dancing!
